Additional Requirements for Guaranteed Weekly Pay
Summitt has implemented a guaranteed minimum that would apply only when Summitt cannot offer drivers enough quality loads during a week to reach that minimum and will not apply whenever the inability to meet that threshold is due to limitations of the driver.
Guaranteed minimum weekly pay of $1,500/driver if the following stipulations are met:

- Must be available for 5 full driving shifts (example: If a driver starts his week on a Sunday night and needs back home Thursday morning, that is not 5 full driving shifts.)
- Driver cannot turn down a load under any circumstance to be eligible for the weekly quarantee.
- Driver must accept a replacement truck in the interim, if needed.
- Must come out of the house on the day expected.
- No additional or unnecessary breaks can be taken to under utilize a drivers available weekly driving hours.
- A contract must be signed by the driver before taking their first dispatch to ensure clarity and understanding of the parameters in place.
- The Driver Manager will be responsible for verifying the above stipulations have been met by the driver, and the Fleet Manager must second the notion.
- Reminder that for now, this only applies to team drivers.
- Must adhere to required maintenance schedule on equipment.
- Must scan paperwork by midnight on Sunday in order for the load to be paid in the proper pay period.
- Guarantee will not be paid if a load is paying outside the proper pay period and the gross pay is less than $1500 due to the driver not scanning in a timely manner.
